Join us for a Community SING at the Wigle Whiskey Barrelhouse and Whiskey Garden on Friday evening, June 15. Singers of all ages and abilities are invited to sing songs from diverse faith traditions, languages, and cultures, led by a dynamic team of Music That Makes Community presenters and song leaders from the surrounding community.
We'll gather at 6:30 p.m. for food and fellowship. A local food truck will be on site for those who would like to purchase dinner; alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase and a portion of the sales will be returned to the Diocese. We'll start singing at 7 p.m. and wrap up around 8:30. The event is free and all are welcome! Simply RSVP below to let us know you're coming.
MMC will also host a One-Day Paperless Music Workshop at The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer on Saturday, June 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Explore the basics of paperless music, learn new songs to enrich and strengthen your community, and reflect on strategies for cultivating participatory singing and liturgy.
The workshop is sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh and the Church Planting Initiative at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
