“It doesn’t have to be
the blue iris, it could be
weeds in a vacant lot, or a few
small stones; just
pay attention, then patch
a few words together and don’t try
to make them elaborate, this isn’t
a contest but the doorway
into thanks, and a silence in which
another voice may speak.”
-Mary Oliver, Praying

God is constantly singing through all of creation. When we pay attention to the songs within and around us, we are attuning ourselves to the divine. Join us for a walk in New York City that brings together the movement of our bodies with the melodies of the earth and the rhythms of the city. Bring the songs of your own experience, along with a listening heart and comfortable walking shoes.

We will meet at 2:30 pm on Saturday, Oct. 2, at Sakura Park, Corner of Riverside Dr. and W 122nd St (meet inside the park), New York, NY.
Our walk will end at 4:00 pm at Harlem Meer, 199 Central Park N, New York, NY.

To RSVP, fill out this quick google survey: https://forms.gle/KUrqoZUfXxdhgyE36

We'll be singing outdoors, distanced and masked as we journey. You're welcome to be present in ways that honor your body's safety and comfort. Donations warmly welcomed. In partnership with MMC, Katie Reimer will be facilitating this event.
