You are invited to join a diverse group of skilled musicians and clergy for three days of workshops, worship and fellowship:
- Learn a practice of teaching music through modeling and gesture that emphasises participation and connection
- Explore ways to create transformative experiences of wholehearted engagement for people from across the spectrum of musical experience
- Sing, share stories and join in conversation about the power of music to bind us to one another and to God
Brattleboro, Vermont is a beautiful, thriving small town with an incredible music-making culture. We hope you will join us for a Music That Makes Community event hosted by St. Michael's Episcopal Church. The choir at St. Michael's has volunteered to cook for us, and we'll be staying at the historic Latchis Hotel (be sure to mention Music That Makes Community to reserve a room at the low corporate rates we've negotiated there).
This event will be geared mainly towards participants returning to Music that Makes Community for the second (or third or fourth) time, but there will also be a track for first-time participants. So we hope you'll join us this summer in Brattleboro!
