Music That Makes Community is excited to make our first visit to the Philadelphia area, sharing paperless music and leadership practices! St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Gladwyne will host this time of musical and spiritual nourishment as we join voices and hearts in song.

We begin on Friday evening at 6 p.m. with dinner and an intergenerational Community SING for individuals and families of all sizes and configurations. Community SINGs are for everyone – no musical experience is required! We'll share songs that enliven the spirit, nourish the soul, and remind us that we belong to each other.

We'll continue on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with a workshop exploring how and why we sing together, noticing way our bodies and voices are present when we learn through thoughtful modeling and generous invitation. Together we'll explore how the energy we create through singing affects what we do in worship as a whole, as well as other parts of our human lives.

MMC presenters will also offer worship leadership at St. Christopher's on Sunday morning at 10 a.m.

Music That Makes Community encourages and support practices of communal singing and learning. Watch this short video to learn about the unique work we're doing around the United States and Canada.

Individual Registration Fee: $80
Duo Registration Fee: $140 (two individuals)
Family Registration Fee: $175 (up to four individuals)

Meals, refreshments, and workshop materials are included in the cost.

The workshop is sponsored, in part, by the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania.
