DESCRIPTION:
Worship planners, church musicians, clergy and lay folks are invited to join Music that Makes Community leaders in exploring the shades of Lent over two days in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Four sessions will be offered in a combination of hybrid and in-person sessions anchored at St. Michael’s and All Angels Episcopal Church. Sessions include:
- Singing lament and grief,
- Creative paperless song and liturgy for Lent
- Walking pilgrimage for Christian Unity
- Dances of Universal Peace
The retreat will be led by a dynamic team of local musicians and clergy, including the Rev. Sylvia and Donnel Miller-Mutia, David and Winona Poole, as well as MMC's new Executive Director Conie Borchardt.

REGISTRATION:
Each session is offered as a free-will offering. Suggested donation is $10-50 per person per session. No one will be turned away! We need everyone singing!
In-person participants are on their own for lodging and meals. Please reach out if you’d like a list of nearby restaurants and lodging.
