I work in words and in music. For the past two years, I have been living in Memphis, Tennessee, where I was minister of communication for Church of the Holy Communion (Episcopal). I am a contributing editor for the Episcopal Cafe and in 2015 wrote and curated the Prayers of the People for General Convention 78, a project in collaboration with SSJE.

In late summer, I returned to Roanoke, Va., and my position as music director for St. Elizabeth's Episcopal. I also teach English at Ferrum College and am staff collaborative pianist at Radford University.
