Adam is a composer, songwriter, hymnist, cantor, former parish music director, and current parish praise band member with experience across a wide variety of Christian musical styles and traditions. He has a special interest in unaccompanied vocal music, from Gregorian chant to Sacred Harp to the contemporary part-songs common to MMC's practice.

Adam is also a software engineer, technical writer, teacher, and consultant. He grew up in Central Florida, has lived in (or near) Tampa, Boston, Fort Worth, and Berkeley, and currently lives in Sunnyvale, California (Silicon Valley) with his wife, the Rev. Nikky Wood, and their two children.
