Music that Makes Community is a non-profit organization exploring how we sing together without screens and paper. Like the Network of Biblical Storytellers, we invite communities to experience sacred text in an embodied, experiential way, facilitating spaces of communal prayer, praise, and reflection. For this workshop, MMC's Executive Director Paul Vasile will partner with biblical storytellers in the MMC community to model creative ways of weaving song and story together. We'll invite participants to notice how short songs and refrains taught without paper can enrich, engage, and support practices of storytelling and draw our communities into a deeper relationship with scripture.
