Nehemiah Luckett is a composer working on the edges of sacred and secular; writing music that ranges from pop songs to operas. Nehemiah has deep gratitude for Wells/Power APAC (Academic and Performing Arts Complex) in Jackson, Mississippi where he studied music and theater and for his family that allowed him to dream crazy dreams. Original musicals and operas include Hamlet: Prince of Funk, Brick by Brick, jazz singer, A Burning Church, Triple Threats, LIFTED, Love Out of Time and Adia and Clora Snatch Joy. Nehemiah is a member of The Dramatists Guild, American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers (ASMAC), the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and is the Founder/Chief Dreaming Officer of Dreaming The Future Together. He currently lives in the Bronx with his husband and a wide variety of plants.
