<p><span>Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, and now a resident of New York City, </span>Nehemiah Luckett <span>has been leading and accompanying choirs for more than 20 years. He is a composer, performer, teacher, and music director for Reverend Billy and The Stop Shopping Choir, a group of anti-consumerist gospel shouters and Earth loving urban activists who have worked with communities on four continents defending community, life, and imagination and resisting Consumerism and Militarism.</span></p>
