Be with us for a daylong workshop at Grace Episcopal Church in Lexington, VA focusing on racial reconciliation and small parish ministry, bringing together paperless singing from Music That Makes Community and story sharing, a project of The Episcopal Church's Becoming the Beloved Community.
The workshop is open to all - clergy, parishioners, church musicians, choir members and teachers from any denomination. We'll learn ways to share music that engage non-singers, and tools for sharing our stories across divisions to understand each other better. The day will include small and large group practice, lunch and shared worship.
We will begin our day with a sung Eucharist - you are warmly invited to join that service as you are able, but if you have commitments at your own church, join us for workshops as soon as you are able to arrive.
***While you are welcome to RSVP below, you must also REGISTER ONLINE to secure a place at the workshop***
Registration Fee: $15 per person, $5 for students (can be waived if needed; email Melissa Hays-Smith at the address below).
