Music that Makes Community is excited to visit Indiana for a weekend of community singing with the Muncie Masterworks Chorale!

Paul Vasile will lead an interfaith paperless music workshop on Saturday, sharing songs and leadership practices that help you add paperless (oral/aural tradition) music to your community’s singing practice. Learn practical skills and diverse repertoire, and explore how paperless singing enhances listening, inspires collaboration, and creates connection through the deeply human act of singing. Educators, church musicians, clergy of all faith traditions, choir members, and anyone who loves to sing will find it a joyful, affirming day of learning and sharing.

And on Saturday evening, the Masterworks Chorale performs Alice Parker's Melodious Accord cantata, and Paul will lead a Community Hymn SING on the second half of the program, inviting the audience and choir alike to raise their voices. Click here to purchase tickets for the evening performance.

Registration Rate: Free for all. Please register in advance to let us know you'll attend.

The workshop includes a light lunch and workshop materials.

The workshop is generously supported by the Masterworks Chorale, which exists to enrich the Muncie community with excellent cultural experiences through the promotion and the live performance of fine choral music.

Music that Makes Community is a non-profit organization that encourages and supports practices of communal singing and learning. Watch this short video to learn about the unique work we're doing around the United States and Canada.
