Join Paul Vasile and The Rev. Ashley Goff on Jan. 28, 2022, for a Community-Rooted Lenten Planning hybrid workshop, as we explore songs and liturgy for the forty-day journey of Lent. Register here!

The hybrid event will be hosted by Arlington Presbyterian Church and we're excited to welcome a small number of vaccinated individuals to attend in person, as well as our online community to attend via Zoom. The webinar will also be recorded and available afterward.

We'll focus on songs and liturgical practices inspired by the transformative ministry of Arlington Presbyterian Church, which sold its building and land to the Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH) to build Gilliam Place, a 173-unit affordable housing apartment community on the site of their previous building. This new vision was inspired by the stories of their neighbors and their struggle to connect within the community and to find affordable housing in South Arlington.

We'll explore how the season of Lent invites our deeper listening to the stories and experiences within our community, and how our liturgical practices can move us toward embodying the prophet Micah's exhortation to "do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God."

Registration fees are on a sliding scale, from $75 to $40 per person, which includes access to a video recording following the workshop. We ask you to pay what is generous and affordable for you with gratitude for the time and skill of our presenters. Additional scholarship support is also available, if needed.

Please let us know the amount you'd like to be invoiced. Upon registering via this form, you’ll receive an email with a link to help you make your payment.
