Music That Makes Community is excited to host our annual Advent Test Kitchen at The Church of The Village on Saturday, October 28 from 3 to 5:30 pm. 

Jorge Lockward and Katie Reimer will facilitate a time of reflection on this bluesy and brooding season. We'll explore Advent scripture and prayers, then workshop your ideas - liturgy in process, unsung or new tunes, and other worship expressions that you want to try within a supportive, gracious community of learners. 

And, it wouldn't be a test kitchen if we didn't enjoy sweets from a local bakery.

Church of The Village is in Manhattan’s West Village on the corner of 13th Street and 7th Avenue. The 1, 2, 3, A, C, E, F, M, and L trains all stop a short distance away, as well as the PATH train from New Jersey.

There is a wheelchair-accessible ramp on 13th Street for those who may have difficulty with stairs. An elevator provides access to church offices, meeting rooms, and gymnasium. Many restrooms are ADA-accessible.
