Music that Makes Community is coming to Denver, CO! We will co-sponsor a Community Sing with The Hymn Society of the U.S. and Canada and Singing Resistance Denver at The Celtic on Market near the Denver Convention Center on Friday evening, November 20. This event is free and open to all who love to sing, regardless of musical experience or training.

This Community Sing is part of MMC's participation in the American Academy of Religion's (AAR) Annual Meeting November 21-24, 2026 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, CO. Stay tuned for more details on a one-day workshop in the Denver area for Saturday, November 21, location TBD. 

As part of the conference, MMC Executive Director C. Onyx Li and Becca Whitla from Toronto will be offering a hands-on, voices engaged workshop of singing and theological reflection on how song can be a powerful part of protest. This workshop is part of the American Academy of Religion's Annual Meeting and will take place on Sunday, November 21 from 4-5 pm. More details here.
