Ben Groth is a Lutheran pastor (ELCA) and musician. His experience of paperless music in Marquand Chapel at Yale Divinity School transformed his musical perspective and encouraged in him a belief that excellence and congregational inclusion are not opposed to one another. He particularly loves learning and sharing music as a means to building up a multicultural body of God. Ben graduated from the Lutheran
School of Theology at Chicago with a Master of Sacred Theology, from Yale Divinity School with a Master of Divinity and a certificate from the Institute of Sacred Music, and from Oberlin College and Conservatory with degrees in Piano Performance, English, and Religion.
